Mirtazapine Not Working For Depression


Tapered and stopped completely between january and April. I fell im going round and round in circles with no end to all this at all. I don't know what to do..!?!? I am also in Benzo W/D so I can;t taper yet. http://ariseoo.com/not-working/f7-f8-f9-mac-not-working.html

Even ambien loses its kick over time and then the real fun begins as not many meds can deliver as it did. Have you taken both the Xanax & Buspar ? It could be he thinks you need a different med, but he will discuss it with you.

  • remeron is no ssri so it works a lil differently.

  • They haven't done much for my anxiety though so my psych recently added pregabalin which touch wood does seem to be helping the anxiety.

Mirtazapine might make you want to eat a lot as it is an appetite stimulant and also, I believe an antidepressant. I recall a few but am not sure how many are still active members (I've been on here a while now - I had majorly bad insomnia) I know a lot If anything, get an opinion from another doctor or ask a pharmacist for thier thoughts. Read the Remeron Support thread. This might sound stupid, but I kind of feel like mirtazepine was muffling my emotions instead of lifting them, if you know what I mean. You see, at first I thought my early-morning wakening was just garden-variety insomnia, but it's actually a symptom of depression. I love the way the buspar and xanax work together and would like to stay on them without the SSRI.
