I checked to make sure the ip on the host hadn't changed, and I've done every other check to make sure it is set up as it should be. Updating the NVIDIA driver did the trick. For the service type, choose TCP protocol. The host I'm trying to connect from is Windows 7 and I have checked that the remote desktop services are started on the XP machine.
Remember you need to give the administrator account a password, open the port in the firewall, and check the allow remote connections check box in the System properties. please share the tips and knowledge to solve the above problem.
