Any help will be greatly appreciated. Why this is happening A number of issues can prevent QuickBooks Desktop from opening. So if the problem is related to drivers, then it appears to be drivers that are running both in safe mode and normal windows. Windows did an update and now I get "unrecoverable" message when I try to open quickbooks.

When I was opening my QB, it asked me to update the QB file (due to update the OS of windows) which I agreed. If the relationship between QuickBooks and Windows gets messed up, QuickBooks will be messed up. Any advice? But now QuickBooks just won’t launch, or it’s operating at a snail’s pace, or something that used to work just fine now won’t work.
